Jon makes an appearance on BBC Midlands Today News. The show was broadcast live on BBC1 at 6:30pm on Thursday 23rd November to the Birmingham and Midlands area with an estimated viewing audience of 350,000. Jon performed a short posing routine then interviewers Nick Owen and Suzanne Virdee asked a series of questions about his training and diet regime and his recent world championships win, before taking a closer look at the gold medal and overall trophy he picked up in New York city.
"Nick and Suzanne were just great, they showed a genuine interest in the sport and made me feel very welcome at the BBC studios. I felt privileged to have the opportunity to present natural bodybuilding to the greater public and give the sport some positive exposure. Off air the presenters and crew were so intrigued they continued to ask me more questions after the interview. I guess it's not every day they get a tanned up bodybuilder enter the building. I did get a few strange stares walking around the studio in just my trunks, but I'm pretty used to that by now!"
